Technology Seed-Designed Website Featured in BMJ (British Medical Journal)

Technology Seed recently designed the very popular medical review site HealthNewsReview.org. The site is produced by a group of seasoned medical professionals, professors and journalists and exists to promote accurate reporting of news articles that make a therapeutic claim about medical issues, treatments and procedures.

HealthNewsReview.org consists of a back-end database that organizes hundreds of news article reviews into a searchable, interactive application. Building community around HNR’s non-profit work, an online forum allows readers to share and discuss their thoughts on the reviews (http://forum.healthnewsreview.org).

In addition to its intensive health news reviewing, www.HealthNewsReview.org also houses a list of Independent Medical Experts. This application, prominently featured in the BMJ (British Medical Journal), outlines Medical Experts that do not have financial ties to drug or medical device manufacturers. The list, containing sensitive contact information for prominent medical professionals world-wide, is accessible via a secure, database driven login procedure.
